DERMAL FILLER
ARE DERMAL FILLERS SAFE?

Dermal Fillers are very safe, providing your practitioner is using a CE marked product (all Dermal Filler must be CE marked for use in the UK).
Also as mentioned before, Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found within our bodies, therefore this limits the adverse reactions.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM
AGE FOR DERMAL FILLER ?

It has just been made illegal for any minor to Dermal Filler even with parental consent.
Therefore the legal age for Dermal Filler is 18.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE?
It can take between 45minutes to 90minutes.
I take my time with my clients and never want you to feel rushed. During the appointment, we will go through your medical history, consultation forms, aftercare advice, apply topical numbing cream and of course administer the Dermal Filler!

IS IT PAINFUL?

Dermal Fillers can be uncomfortable and sometimes a little painful, however we do all we can while you're in the chair to ensure that you are comfortable. We apply topical numbing cream and allow it time to work, sanitised stress balls are provided and also I make sure my clients know that they are in full control during the treatment. If you want me to stop, raise your hand. Obviously if we are mid-injection, I will finish up before removing the needle, but we go at your pace.
WHAT IS DERMAL FILLER ?

Dermal Filler is an injectable gel substance made from Hyaluronic Acid, which is naturally found in our bodies and thus limits the adverse reactions to Dermal Filler.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DERMAL FILLER?

Dermal Filler is injected into the skin to restore volume and plumpness, it also encourages the natural production of collagen within our skin which is needed for youthful looking skin. It can help you look younger by reducing fine lines around your lower face.

HOW LONG DOES DERMAL FILLER LAST ?

We usually expect Dermal Filler to last between 6-12 months but some of us may naturally break down filler at a faster rate.
Dermal Filler can last longer if you stay hydrated after your treatment, although because of the amount of movement they undertake daily, our lips tend to break down filler quicker than other parts of our face.
